With over 40 years of experience, Kazeka is an accomplished international freestyle wrestler, BJJ practitioner, MMA competitor, and coach. He began training at age 7 at ESPA Nacional in Cuba under world-renowned Coach Arturo Yanes.
In 1994, Kazeka began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — helping the legendary Royce Gracie prepare for his early UFC fights. In 1998, he was promoted to black belt by Carlos Gracie Jr., head coach of Gracie Barra in Rio de Janeiro. Kazeka served as Olympic Coach for the Azerbaijan men's wrestling team at the 2012 London Olympics, where his athletes took 2 Gold medals and 1 Bronze.
Considered one of the greatest heavyweights to ever compete in freestyle wrestling. Alexis has over 30 years of experience as a competitor and coach. He trained under world-renowned Coach Arturo Yanes at ESPA Nacional in Cuba.
A 2x Olympian — Bronze medalist at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and 5th place at the 2004 Athens Olympics — Alexis has since served as National Coach for Azerbaijan, Morocco, and Côte d'Ivoire. His international competitive and coaching expertise are unmatched in the region.
